As a matter of fact, 97% of water is actually salt water, while 2% has frozen up in glaciers. Researchers are, however, working on a machine that uses solar power and removes salt from the water. Actually, MIT researchers have been able to create that machine in an eco-friendly and cost-effective way. The machine is able to make water completely healthy and drinkable.

3. Anti-shake spoons.

Basically, spoons with the ability to counteract shaky hands are now available. This technology employs 360-degree stabilization to reduce the shaking by 85%. Often, individuals suffering from Parkinson’s disease or hand tremors experience difficulty while eating. When designing these spoon, these people were also considered. Usually, the manufacturers use medical grade silicone as well as other safe materials in the production of this anti-shake spoon. When not being used, the spoon will shut off automatically.

4. Development of green rice.

Well, the rice is not green in color. Nevertheless, the rice is genetically modified. This helps to provide stability in areas where floods result in food destruction. However, the seeds are usually genetically modified such that they withstand flooding. This green rice technology may be compared to the green revolution. During the green revolution, crop production doubled. Because of this, green rice can offer a solution to the hunger problem.
